Drawing on more than 20 years' experience in public relations and marketing, Joyce Coker Dreier handles corporate communications for the Chamber, writing and designing magazines/directories, newsletters, brochures, advertising, broadcast e-mails, press releases, and internet information to promote Olathe and the Chamber, including the Economic Development, Convention & Visitors, and Sports Marketing departments. She writes economic development proposals, grants, and position statements on a broad range of topics, and oversees the Chamber´s unified marketing plan, accountability reporting, and media relations.

Joyce has a bachelor's degree in English/Journalism from Emporia State University and a master's degree in administration of higher education from the University of Kansas. She was a member of the Chamber of Commerce for many years before being employed here, serving on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee and as president of the CVB. She was president of Olathe Noon Rotary, a founder of the Hidden Glen Arts Festival, and a member of numerous other organizations. She enjoys family gatherings with her husband Ron and their children, as well as traveling and art.
