What is the Olathe Sports Commission?
A department of the Olathe Chamber of Commerce that attracts and develops amateur sporting events and conventions for economic impact in the City of Olathe. The Olathe Sports Commission is funded through the Olathe hotel guest tax.

In 1999 the Olathe Sports Commission was created to attract and develop amateur sporting events and conventions for positive economic impact on the Olathe community.
