Chamber marketing campaign a success

Going, Going, Almost Gone…

The Olathe Chamber staff and several dozen volunteers this week wrapped up a new marketing campaign that sought new members and provides additional opportunities for members to grow their business and market their products and services. "We're pleased with the dollars generated that we will invest in programs and services for members," Olathe Chamber CEO Tim McKee says. "But the highlight for me is that it validated the value of a Chamber membership. We attracted 60 new members through the campaign and had nearly 75 volunteers who gave freely of their time for the good of our business community."

Key metrics from the campaign include:

  • Sold out three events -- including the Golf Classic
  • Added nearly 60 new Chamber members and 10 new EDC members
  • Almost 75 volunteers participate
  • 61 percent of the companies sponsoring events in 2016 are new sponsors
  • Created sponsorship inventory for the entire year for our members
  • Have more than $50,000 in pledges for sponsorships and new memberships
